Mr - Alice just catered for Nikera and my wedding yesterday and everyone commented how good the food was. It was awesome, everything we ever wanted in our day was there and Alice was just the best person to work with! We just had the best day and Alice was instrumental in helping us realise our vision! Mrs - Alice was an absolute joy to work with very responsive, attentive, warm, flexible and had such creative honest ideas. Alice was accommodating to our budget, ideas and the overall theme and vibe of the food. The food was simply stunning, tasty and plentiful. The team on the day were fantastic, friendly, professional, with amazing attention to detail. The service for our entire wedding was fluid and flawless. The display of the food was fantastic. It was woodland rustic, and looked beautiful. Our guests are still talking about how great our wedding catering was (married 17.10.15) plus we have loved eating the leftover puddings! I would just like to thank you both for the fantastic food and excellent service on Saturday for my sons 21st party. Even though the conditions were tough ! Torrential rain, thunder lightening and the deepest gravel in the world before you could even get into the barn. I would highly recommend the crayfish filo tartlets with spicy avocado mousse. The little presentations, such as the condiments in the flower pots and the labels were a great touch.

From first contact the service we received was exceptional and it all ran very smoothly. The quality of the roast hog and bread buns was brilliant and all the guests were very complimentary about the food (and my drink!). If you are thinking of using them for an event then don't hesitate - I can't think of any occasion they wouldn't enhance.

Without a doubt out wedding was the best, most amazing day of our lives. We wouldn't have changed a thing.
A huge part of this is down to Alice & Martin and their team at Homegrown Hog Roast. From the moment we got in touch with them we knew we didn't have to look any further. Alice listened to our vision of the day, understanding totally our requirements and worked it all confidently into the plan. Our guests raved about the food – the Hog Roast wedding feast and the Ploughman's Supper went down an absolute storm. Not to mention the Pimms reception and canapés! It was reassuring to know that all the food was sourced locally and mostly from suppliers whom Alice and Martin know personally.
Hosting the wedding at home was no mean feat for us as a family, as we had never come close to organising anything on such a big and ambitious scale. Martin and Alice were a complete god-send. They gave my dad advice whenever he asked – this was hugely reassuring, and greatly helped reduce stress levels! Alice allowed us to completely relax on the day, with nothing to worry about except enjoying ourselves!
Throughout our six month wedding planning journey there were many times when we thanked our lucky stars that we had chanced upon Homegrown Hog Roast; absolutely worth their weight in gold. Because we were so impressed, Alice and Martin were also booked for my dad’s 60th birthday BBQ – that was a great success as well!
We would highly recommend them: professional, friendly, experienced, approachable, down to earth, cheerful, brilliant!

Taking place in a marquee in a field must've provided some complications for the staff but they pulled off a scrumptiously succulent hog with some new takes on some classic salads - with lovely fresh ingredients.
